This is Otto, my Mascot, Co-Author and Travelbuddy

otto
I received him from my mother, after my testtour in Italy. (This ist he reason, why he isn’t in those Photos)
I wanted to hive him a hallmark, so I bought a cylinder for him and sewed it on his head
Otto: That did fuckin‘ hurt you ass!
Now I needed a cool name for him, which should also be pronouncable in english, german and french.
I asked my friends in Facebook, but there was no Name which I really liked that much.
Otto: Good luck, otherwise I’d be called Traver Travel or Schroeder. By the way, why didn’t you choose „Rocky“ like your brother suggested?
-Because we already have a daft cat at home called Rocky
Later I decided to call him Otto, after a german Comedian, who I’ve liked since childhood.

To take a teddybear on a journey might sound like a mothersboy at the first glimpse. But it has actually some practical use. It looks always harmless , this effect can help me when triing to make new friends. Even Mike Tyson wouldn’t look scary with a teddybear in his hands, isn’t it?
And children love plushtoys, and once you made friends with children, the adults will also open their doors for you.
And Otto also helps me too keep a red line through the stories and pictures, and like a brandmark, it will be recognized in future.
So it actually isn’t such a bad Idea to take a teddybear with you.
